MEET THE OWNER

Dustin Briggs, owner/founder of Briggs Aircraft Paint & Restoration, is a certified Airframes Mechanic and has been inspecting and servicing airplanes since 2009. Dustin’s love of aircraft painting began in the U.S. Navy, where he worked on naval aircraft as an aviation structural mechanic and painter. Following this experience, Dustin worked at the Department of Defense Fleet Readiness Center Southwest located in San Diego at Naval Base North Island, where he served as a painting instructor, paint training leader, and safety specialist. Dustin then transitioned from military planes to commercial aircraft. He is Experienced in working on planes of all types and sizes—from Boeing P-8 Poseidons (derived from the civilian Boeing 737-800) to Cessnas—Dustin launched Briggs Aircraft Paint & Restoration to continue servicing commercial and private aircraft. Based in Bakersfield, CA, Briggs Aircraft Paint & Restoration provides restoration and painting services for planes throughout central California, and beyond.
